My name is Nicolas, I’m a psychologist and a PhD candidate in psychology working with Adoc Talent Management. I’m attached to the Laboratory of Interdisciplinary Studies on the Doctorate and my work focuses on identity dynamics during the PhD and how they influence a PhD student’s future prospects and motivation.
My research focuses mainly on the dynamics of PhD candidates’ identity during the doctorate, and the consequences on their motivation and professional aspirations. The goal is to understand the factors that shape social identity during the doctorate, for instance with the transitioning from a “student” identity to a “professional” one.
I teach second-year psychology students at the University of Paris Nanterre. The two courses I teach are Work, Vocational, and Ergonomic Psychology and Survey Methodology (Questionnaire Design).
